The Carol Stream Fire Protection District offers a variety of services, in addition to the traditional fire, medical and emergency response.
The District's Fire Prevention Bureau provides public education through events such as the annual open house, station tours and senior luncheons. Residents can arrange for a fire engine or ambulance to visit a block party. Free blood pressure checks are available during administrative office hours, providing that a paramedic is in the station at that time. And local businesses can schedule on-site CPR or fire extinguisher training for their employees for a small fee. Please check the website or contact the District at 630-668-4836 for more information on these programs.
